Metatarsal Raise

• Left and Right specific
• The “Lip” of the addition can be ground out the distal edge will sit more “flush” to the dorsal side of a full length orthotic
• 5 pairs per pack
• Green –low density

• metatarsalgia, 
• interdigital neuritis, or 
• neuromas.

• The metatarsal raise is placed on top of the device and its front lip fits flush on the end of the orthotic. 
• To position the Met raise on the F/L device –treat the F/L as if it were a ¾. 
•  The addition is usually placed in the center of the device to lift the middle 3 metatarsals, but it can be shifted slightly to the lateral or medial side of the device midline for extra support of the 4th metatarsal or 2nd metatarsal.
